Turns out, due to prolonged stress with zero self-care built into my routine, I had developed an autoimmune disease called Alopecia Areata and my immune system was attacking my hair follicles.
Back then, when people would mention that I was working too many hours and saying yes to too many things, I would laugh them off and tell them that I can "sleep when I'm dead."
